From Gippsland to Nationwide: The Journey of Chemist Discount Centre
In 1992, three pharmacists in Gippsland, Victoria, started a small buying group, which rapidly evolved into the Gippsland Pharmacy Group (GPG). Led by Steven Kastrinakis, John Kardis, and Michael Gray, the group grew significantly. Recognising the demand for discount pharmacies, they launched Chemist Discount Centre in 2012. By 2015, it expanded into a successful franchise, now thriving in both regional and metro locations across Australia.
